We offer a free collection and delivery service within Zones 1 & 2 and covered transportation is available on request. Late night pick up facility available from H2O valeting , conveniently situated within the Westfield centre W12, can also be used.

Known affectionately as ‘Mr Aston Martin’ Desmond is one of the most renowned characters in the Aston Martin world, having first worked on the brand in 1976 as an apprentice mechanic. After cutting his teeth with Aston Martin specialist Peter Austen Smith, Desmond branched out with his own business, Desmond J Smail Ltd, in the 1980’s. Aston Sales Kensington followed with his partnership with well-respected Aston Martin sales specialist Alan Baker in 2005 and with the acquisition of Ian Mason Aston Martin Services in 2008 Aston Service London was formed.
Twice receiving the honour of ‘Aston Martin Technician of the Year’ Peter has established an enviable reputation within the Aston Martin community, with a particular interest in new era models from DB7 onwards. For 12 years Peter was workshop foreman at Mayfair, London, the busiest Aston Martin service facility in the world at the time. Peter boasts 30 years’ experience with other high performance marques including Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Foremost amongst our skilled engineers and technicians in terms of experience and knowledge, Ian is well-regarded throughout the Aston Martin world, both on and off the race track. Having served an apprenticeship at Aston Martin’s former factory in the 1950s, he went on to become Service Manager at the famous Works Service department at the marque’s home in Newport Pagnell until establishing his own company.
Agnes is the glue that holds the front end of Aston Service London together and has over 15 years’ experience in administration and customer service with over 10 years’ experience in the automotive industry
Joining Aston Service London in 2015 Adrian brings with him a wealth of experience from other prestigious marques such as Mercedes, BMW and Audi in both service and aftersales. Adrian manages client liaison whilst your car in with us for service or restoration.
Giorgio takes care of maintaining the workshops and offices, ensuring they are kept clean and well presented at all times whilst taking care of any maintenance required. He also assists the workshop team with driving duties and provides support across the company wherever needed.
Andy is our specialist new era vehicle technician. Factory trained up to the current DBS, Andy continues to build on his wealth of Aston Martin specialist knowledge. Before joining our team, Andy worked at Aston Martin Works Service between 1999 and 2001 and at a leading Aston Martin dealership between 2007 and 2009, as well as having experience of other luxury marques, including Jaguar and Range Rover.
Having joined Ian Mason Aston Martin Services in 1982 and worked closely with Ian until 2008, John’s extensive Aston Martin experience includes specialist knowledge of the DB4 to DBS V8 models. In his additional capacity managing all aspects of our restoration work, John’s knowledge of the older cars is invaluable.
Andrew is an experienced and enthusiastic technician who came to us via his work preparing Desmond’s Aston Martin GT4 race car. Equally at home on New Era and Heritage vehicles, Andrew’s skills range from fabrication to computer diagnostics and he still finds time to look after the race car at weekends.
Being with Aston Service London since 2016 Thomas is gaining a broad range of experience whilst studying Classic Car Restoration at Central College Nottingham.
